Message Actions
Each message in a conversation includes a set of actions that help you manage and interact with it more efficiently.
When you hover over a message, you will see quick action buttons for emoji reactions and replying in a thread, along with a three-dot menu for additional options.
From here, you can:
Edit the message, which opens the message editor
Move the message to another conversation
Copy a direct link to the selected message
Add a star to mark the message as a favorite
Mark the message as unread, which enables the red dot indicator for the conversation in the sidebar
Create a task from the message (covered in more detail below)
Remove the message
Replying to Messages in Threads
You can reply to a specific message in a thread to keep conversations organized and focused.
To do that:
Hover over a message
Click the Reply button or open the three-dot menu and select Reply in Thread
This opens the thread side panel, where you will see the original message along with all replies related to it.
From here, you can:
Write a reply using the message editor
Add internal notes if needed
Note: Scheduled messages are not available in threaded replies.
At the top right of the thread panel, you can:
Use the filter option to refine the displayed messages
Close the thread panel

The filtering options in threads are separate from the main conversation filters.
Filtering for the main conversation will be covered later in this article.
Creating Tasks from Messages
You can create a task directly from a message in a conversation, making it easy to turn discussions into actionable items.
To do that:
Hover over the message
Open the three-dot menu
Select Create Task
This will open the New Task modal. From here, you can:
Select the board where the task will be created
Enter a title for the new task
Edit the description (pre-filled with the original message)
The description editor supports full formatting, including:
Adding images
Formatting text
Inserting links
Using emojis
Creating lists
etc.
When you click Save:
The task is created and added to the selected board in the Doing column at the bottom
You will be redirected to the board view
The task will open automatically in a modal
Filtering Messages
You can filter messages in a conversation using the Filter button located at the top right of the conversation, left of the settings (gear) icon and the Share button.
This opens a filtering panel where you can narrow down messages based on different criteria.

When filters are applied, the Filter icon will display a number, indicating how many filter options are currently active.

At any time, you can reset all applied filters to return to the default view by using the Reset option in the filter panel, which clears all selections at once.
Here are all the available options in the filter panel:
Search Messages
At the top of the filter panel, you will find the Search messages bar.
Start typing to search for messages containing specific words
Note: You need to type the full word for the search to return results
Press Enter to run the search
Click the X icon to clear the search input
Suggested Categories
You can quickly filter messages by predefined categories:
Notes
Starred messages
Scheduled messages
Messages with attached files
Threaded messages with replies
Author Filter
You can filter messages based on who sent them:
Client messages only
Member messages only
A list of all clients and members, allowing you to filter by a specific author
Date Filter
You can filter messages based on when they were sent.
Select a date range from the calendar and click Apply
Use the Reset button to clear the selected date range
Thread Filtering
Threaded conversations include a separate filtering system inside the thread panel.
The same filtering options are available as in the main conversation, with a few differences:
Notes
Starred messages
Messages with attached files
Author filter
Date filter
Notes
Scheduled and threaded messages are not available in thread filtering.
The filter in threads works independently from the main conversation filter.
