How to Connect Kitchen with DocuMocu

Connect your DocuMocu account to Kitchen to create, manage, and share proposals and contracts directly from your workspace.

Written by Denitsa Zhelyazkova

DocuMocu is our proposal, contract, and e-signature platform designed to help you create professional documents, collect signatures, and manage approvals online.

The native integration between Kitchen and DocuMocu allows you to connect your accounts and work with proposals and contracts across both platforms.

Proposals and contracts are created and managed in DocuMocu, then automatically published to Kitchen, where they can be shared, reviewed, and signed by clients.

Connecting Your DocuMocu Account

To connect Kitchen with DocuMocu:

  1. Open Proposals from the left-side navigation menu.

  2. Click Connect DocuMocu.

You will be prompted to enter your DocuMocu connection token.

Getting Your Connection Token

In DocuMocu:

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Select Integrations.

  3. Click Connect

  4. Copy the Connection Token

  5. Return to Kitchen and paste the token into the connection window.

  6. Click Save to complete the setup.

Note: The email address used in Kitchen and DocuMocu must be the same. If the email addresses do not match, the connection will not work.

Creating a Proposal and Sharing it in Kitchen

Once the integration is connected:

  1. Open a desired folder in Kitchen.

  2. Click Create.

  3. Select Proposal or Contract.

  4. Select the name and the access level

  5. Click Continue in DocuMocu

Kitchen will open DocuMocu, where you can create and customize the document.

If the folder is associated with a client, the client's information will automatically be populated in the proposal.

No additional setup is required.

Using Templates

You can create a proposal from scratch or use one of your existing DocuMocu templates to speed up the process.

You can then:

  • Edit the proposal name

  • Update the content

  • Add additional sections

  • Configure recipients and signing requirements

Publishing the Proposal

When the proposal is ready, you can:

  • Send it by email

  • Share it using a public link

  • Embed it elsewhere

If the proposal was created from Kitchen, it will automatically be published back to your Kitchen workspace as a resource inside the folder where it was created.

Clients can review and sign the proposal directly from Kitchen.

Access and Permissions

Anyone who has access to the folder in Kitchen will be able to view the proposal.

However, proposal signing permissions are managed entirely within DocuMocu.

Only recipients configured in DocuMocu will be able to sign the document.
