How to Connect Kitchen with Zapier

A quick guide explaining how to connect your Kitchen workspace to Zapier.

Kitchen's Zapier integration lets you connect your Kitchen workspace with thousands of other apps.

Once connected, you can use Kitchen's available triggers and actions to automate processes, sync data between tools, and build custom workflows.

Before you begin, you'll need:

  • A Kitchen workspace

  • A Zapier account

  • An API Key from Kitchen

To learn how to create an API Key, see How to Create and Manage API Keys.

Once you've created your API Key, make sure to copy it immediately. For security reasons, the full token is displayed only once and cannot be viewed again.

Note

API access is available on paid Kitchen plans only.


Connecting Kitchen to Zapier

Once you have your API Key, switch over to Zapier.

Create a new Zap and choose Kitchen.co as the trigger, the action, or both, depending on the workflow you'd like to build.

During the setup of the Kitchen step, you'll be able to choose the specific trigger or action. Below that, you'll find the option to sign in to your Kitchen account.

Click Sign In.

A new window will open where you'll be asked to enter the following information:

  • Workspace URL

  • API Key

• Workspace URL

In the Workspace URL field, enter your Kitchen workspace's default URL, including https:// and without a trailing slash.

Important

If you're using a custom domain for your Kitchen workspace, it can't be used to connect with Zapier. You'll need to use your default Kitchen workspace URL instead.

If you aren't sure what your default Kitchen URL is, contact our support team and we'll be happy to help.

• API Key

Paste the API Key you generated in Kitchen into the API Key field.

When you're ready, click Connect and wait for the connection to complete.

Your Kitchen workspace is now connected, and you can continue configuring the rest of your Zap.

Note

Once connected, this Kitchen account will be available when creating future Kitchen triggers and actions.

If you'd like to connect a different Kitchen workspace later, click Change in the account field, select Connect a new account, and repeat the connection process.
