Besides the main ways covered in the previous article, you can also create tasks via email, making it easy to capture work without opening the board.
To set this up:
Open a board
Go to More options (gear icon) at the top right corner
Select Create tasks via Email
From there, you can create tasks by sending or forwarding emails to the generated email address.
Note
Only team members with the Creator role can access and view this setup.
Each email address is unique to a specific user and board.
When you send an email to this address, the task details are created automatically based on its content:
The email subject becomes the task title
The email body becomes the task description
Any attachments are added as messages inside the task
When a task is created:
It is added to the Open column at the bottom of the board
The task creator is the user linked to the email address used
Anyone who has access to the email address can create tasks, even if they are not part of your workspace.
