There are two ways to upload files, depending on how you prefer to work.

Option 1: Using the Upload Button

You can upload files directly from within the folder using the Upload or Drag button.

  1. Open your folder

  2. Click the Upload or Drag button

  3. Select how you want to upload your files

Available options include:

  • Files – allows you to select one or multiple files from your computer

  • Folders – allows you to upload entire folders from your computer

  • Choose from Dropbox – opens a new window where you can log in and select files from your Dropbox account

  • Choose from Google Drive – opens a new window where you can log in and upload files or folders from your Google Drive

Once you start uploading, an upload widget will appear in the bottom-right corner of your screen. It provides useful information about your uploads, including:

  • A list of all uploading files

  • File type information

  • File sizes

  • Upload progress and remaining time (or Done when completed)

You can minimize or close the upload widget. Additionally, you can click on a file to open it directly once it’s uploaded.

Note

Files uploaded from Dropbox and Google Drive are added as links in Kitchen.

Clicking on them will redirect you to the file in the respective platform.

These files do not take up storage space in your workspace.

Option 2: Drag and Drop

You can also upload files and folders directly from your computer using drag and drop.

  1. Open your Kitchen folder

  2. Start dragging a file or folder from your computer

  3. Drop it into the Kitchen folder

Once the upload starts, you will see the same upload widget in the bottom-right corner, where you can track progress and manage your uploads.
