You can share each resource with specific clients or team members and control what they can do by assigning them roles.
Before sharing, make sure the resource’s General Access setting is configured appropriately (for example, Shared with Clients when inviting clients).
For more details, see Access Levels and Resource Permissions in Kitchen.
Granting Access
To give access:
Open the resource.
Click the Share button (top right corner of the resource).
In the “Add members or clients” field at the top of the modal window, enter the user's name or email.
Select the user from the search results.
After selection, you can:
Assign them a role for the resource
Add additional users (if needed)
If an email notification should be sent, enable the Send notification option by selecting the checkbox, and include a custom message if desired.
Select Save or Send Invite, depending on whether a notification is being sent.
Access can always be reviewed by checking the avatars next to the Share button or reopening the Share window.
Alternatively, you can share the resource by hovering over it in the sidebar, clicking the three-dot menu (More Options), and selecting Share.
This opens the same share modal window described above.
Important
Adding a client or team member to a folder automatically grants access to all child resources inside it that are set to the same access level.
Each new resource created inside the folder will also be automatically shared with them if it uses the same access setting.
